Your Personalized NAD+ IV Infusion Plan

Welcome to the ACK Infusion NAD+ plan! We’re excited to help you on your wellness journey with our NAD+ IV therapy. Here is a clear breakdown of what you can expect, from your first visit to your ongoing maintenance plan.

Phase 1: Getting Started - Finding Your Perfect Dose

Your first few sessions are all about finding the right dose for you. We start with a low dose to ensure your body responds well and to minimize any potential side effects.

  • Session 1: The Starting Dose
    • Dose: You’ll begin with a 100 mg NAD+ infusion in 1000 mL of normal saline.
    • Duration: This first infusion will begin slow, and the speed of the drip will be increased, as our nurse carefully monitors how you’re feeling. A slower drip rate is key to your comfort!
    • Cost: The price for this initial session is $375.
  • Sessions 2-6: Titrating Up
    • Dose: Based on how you felt during your first session, we’ll gradually increase your dose. We may move you to 175 mg or stay at 100mg if you are not ready to increase your dose; the goal is to eventually increase to your target dose of 500 mg in later sessions.
    • Frequency: You can receive these infusions once or twice a week, depending on your schedule and how well you’re tolerating the treatment.
    • Cost: As your dose increases, the cost will also increase. A 175 mg infusion will cost you $400, while a 500 mg infusion will be $550.

Phase 2: Maintaining Your Results

Once you’ve reached and are comfortable with the 500 mg dose, you can move into the maintenance phase to keep feeling your best.

  • Dose: You’ll continue with the 500 mg NAD+ infusion.
  • Frequency: To sustain the benefits, most clients receive a maintenance infusion once a month or every 3 to 6 months. We’ll work with you to determine the best schedule for your lifestyle and wellness goals.
  • Cost: Each maintenance session is $550.

Important Notes

  • Your Comfort is Our Priority: Our experienced nurses will be with you throughout the entire process, adjusting the infusion rate as needed to ensure you have a comfortable and positive experience.

  • Disclaimer: This plan is a general guideline. Your specific treatment will be overseen by a licensed healthcare professional to ensure it is tailored to your individual needs.

Intravenous (NAD+) therapy is generally considered safe, but like any medical treatment, it can have side effects.

Common Side Effects

  • Nausea or Upset Stomach: This is one of the most frequent reactions, often occurring if the infusion is administered too quickly or on an empty stomach. Slowing the drip rate and having a light meal beforehand can help mitigate this.
  • Headache or Pressure Sensation: Some individuals experience mild head pressure or a dull headache, which is typically linked to the infusion rate.
  • Flushing, Warmth, or Skin Tingling: A warm, flushed feeling, particularly around the face, chest, or arms, is common. This is due to NAD+ dilating blood vessels and usually fades as the body adjusts.
  • Muscle Cramps or Chest Tightness: These sensations can occur if NAD+ enters the bloodstream too rapidly and are often resolved by pausing or slowing the infusion.
  • Dizziness or Lightheadedness: This can result from low blood sugar, dehydration, or a fast infusion rate, especially if the patient hasn’t eaten or is engaging in physical activity.
  • Fatigue or Brain Fog (Post-Treatment): Some people experience short-term fatigue or a feeling of “brain fog” after the session, which is often described as a “system reboot” and typically resolves by the next morning.
These symptoms can be mitigated by running the infusion at a slower rate.

Other potential, though rare, side effects associated with any IV treatment include redness, tenderness, or bruising at the needle site. Allergic reactions, such as itching, rash, or hives, are extremely rare but possible. In very rare cases, more severe symptoms like swelling or breathing issues could occur, though this is highly unlikely in controlled settings. Anaphylactic reactions are a concern with IV therapies in general, though specific data for NAD+ IV therapy is limited.

To minimize side effects, it’s recommended to:

  • Inform your healthcare provider of your full health history, including current medications, supplements, and any allergies.
  • Ensure the infusion rate is adjusted to your comfort level.
  • Stay well-hydrated and consider having a light meal before the session.
  • Allow for rest and relaxation after the treatment.
